Terms of service

The agreement between Backbone and the businesses that use it. Final language pending counsel review.

This page exists to satisfy app-store, payment-processor, and registration requirements during development. The language below has not been reviewed by an attorney and must not be relied on as final.

Acceptance

Backbone CRM (the "Service") is operated by Vibly Tech LLC ("Backbone," "we"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. The final language is pending review by counsel and is not yet binding; this page exists only to satisfy registration and review requirements during development.

What Backbone provides

A field-service CRM application available on iOS, Android, and the web. Subject to your subscription tier, the Service includes job management, estimating, invoicing, payments processing, customer records, SMS messaging, GPS tracking, and AI assistance features.

Your account

  • You must be 18 or older and authorized to enter into agreements on behalf of your business.
  • Keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
  • Backbone may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, applicable law, or our Acceptable Use Policy.

Payments and subscriptions

  • Subscription fees are charged in advance on a monthly or annual cadence per the plan you select.
  • Payment-processing fees on transactions you receive from your customers are charged per-transaction by the underlying processor (Stripe).
  • You may cancel a subscription at any time from inside the Service. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

Customer data ownership

You retain ownership of the data you enter or upload into the Service. Backbone is granted a limited license to process that data only for the purpose of operating the Service for you. You may export your data at any time via the Service.

Acceptable use

You agree to comply with our Acceptable Use Policy, including obtaining proper consent before sending SMS messages to your own customers.

Service availability

Backbone makes commercially reasonable efforts to keep the Service available, but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may schedule maintenance windows and may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice with at least 14 days' notice before they take effect.
